Laboratory & Pharmacy

Each week a lab technician will visit and draw blood in accordance with the physician’s orders. A Mobile X-ray is also available where needed with physician’s orders.

Specimen samples are collected daily as needed and taken back to the lab for testing. All results are reported back to the home in a timely manner.

Middlesex Terrace has an agreement with an external company to visit weekly to maintain all wheelchairs, walkers, and to provide cleaning as needed. Residents, however, are free to choose any vendor for seating and mobility aid purchases.

Medisystem Pharmacy is the home’s provider for residents’ medications. We have our own pharmacy consultant who visits regularly to assist staff, residents and families with any medication related concerns. She also provides education sessions for staff and is part of our Medical Advisory Committee.
